"Job" vs. "Career"

Students tend to mix up these two words, job and career

Job:  the work that a person does regularly in order to earn money

Career a job or profession that someone does for a long time

Chris Rock  explains the difference between them in this stand-up monologue (please, excuse the bad language) :

You will hear some vocabulary you should recognize: to drop-out of school, to qualify for a job, 10th grade (= 4th "ESO"), get a raise, get a promotion, work experience
