A Choice of Blogs I Like

When I was copying this photo to paste it in here, the message it enclosed was "award" so I guess that´s what this is: an award I got from Ana Concejero when she decided to include my blog in her choice of ten blogs she liked.
On the other hand, this could just be a sort of chain blogging: someone mentions your blog and you, in turn, nominate ten others so those of us who are not well-known get some free publicity...Whatever it is, I must admit I felt really happy when I got Ana´s message so thank you very much, Ana! And here´s my -eclectic- list:

1. Since I don´t know Ana, first of all I had a look at her blogs: I did like Mis clases..., where you can see what a great teacher she is and how hard her students work but I was greatly surprised by Middle Ages Women, a blog where they post different projects (in English, French and Spanish) carried out by the students at her school and coordinated by different teachers.

2. English is all around. Begoña, the writer of this blog, is a friend and used to be a colleague; in fact, she is the reason why I started blogging: I saw what she was doing and I said to myself, "I want to do that, too". Through her blog you may get a glimpse of her as a teacher but, unfortunately, you cannot get to know her as a person and she is really worth meeting: a very positive person who always greets you with a lovely smile.

3. Ana Gómez García´s Weblog. I like some of the activities she does, some of the videos she posts. She seems to be a very sensitive person and I´m sure many of us are glad that she´s back at blogging after a brief pause.

4. TICleando. Nines Picado and I agree on some of the topics we choose and I like the way she deals with them; her blog is really entertaining, probably because she´s very good at choosing videos, cartoons and photos to spread her thoughts.

5. Sing Your English. I love music and I love singing. I like and enjoy most of the videos that Paloma chooses for her blog and they sometimes inspire me to do some activities in class.

6. La Tecnobitácora de Cudipeich. José was my ICT teacher for two months and his classes were very useful for me, but I found we share a couple of hobbies, cooking and travelling, in his delicious bookmarks so I have a look at them from time to time.

7. A CLIL to Climb Chiew´s posts are really interesting and varied: History, Geography, Maths, English, of course...

8. Middle School 101 Megan loves teaching, loves her job, loves her classes. I love to read what she does at school and how she expresses herself.

9. ELLA (English Language Lab Asturias); if you register in their Teacher´s Corner, you can download their lessons (audio and text); an excellent way to promote ICT in English teaching.

10. The Pioneer Woman. If you haven´t heard about Ree Drummond yet, don´t miss this chance -or wait until they make the film about her life. This blog is not really about teaching English -even though she is a homeschool mother -but you´ll learn a lot about English, cooking, working at a ranch... and her photos are very nice.

  3. A very nice choice, Rosa. I didn't know some of them and they are really interesting.Thanks.
I would also like to thank you for mentioning Middle Ages Women, the students worked hard on the activities we did for the blog and I'm quite proud of it.
And, believe me, I included your blog in my list because I think it's worth keeping an eye on it!
    Take care!
