I just had to let you know! I am one of the finalists in the "V Premio Espiral Edublogs 2011" under the category of "Blogs de Profesores y Profesoras" (=Teachers´Blogs). If you click on the former link, you will find the HUGE list of finalists, which is a great chance to have a look at other blogs. I´m sure you´ll be surprised at their quantity and quality (My warmest congratulations to them all!). I want to highlight the fact that most of the bloggers are likely to be civil-servants (I am): we are supposed to be lazy, indolent, idle... a word to the wise is enough (Do you need a translation for the proverb? Congratulations, Rosa.
ReplyDeleteThis blog really deserves being one of the finalists in Edublogs 2011 (or even a winner). It's really good.
If anyone thinks that civil servants are idle or indolent they haven't met you yet. They should just have a look at this blog to know it isn't true.
Thank you very much, Ana (from civil servant to civil servant)!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I´m very happy como se fose a premiada!!
ReplyDeleteSabemos do esforzo e tempo aí investido; mais, a utilidade que ten para alumnado ou visitantes e este especial recoñecemento anima e convida a continuares con forza.
Abrazo

ReplyDeleteI wish you the best of luck!
Moito obrigada, María, por la felicitación y por tus consejos! Sabes que opino que tu blog (http://bibliolhosgrandes.blogspot.com ) también merece estar ahí así que insistiré para que lo presentes el año próximo.
ReplyDeleteEsther, thanks so much! I know your blog and admire your work, that´s why I feel really flattered by your words.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Rosa! I think you really deserve it, only a few teachers would be willing to work so much on a blog for their students.
Jessica, thank you very much! Knowing this comment comes from a student makes it even more flattering. I do work a lot for my students but knowing you find it useful makes the effort worthwhile.
